MobiCsek warehouse diagnostic system
MobiCsek is an offline Radio Frequency based monitoring system was developed in order to examine material handling in conventional, non-automatic warehouses (although it can be used efficiently in production logistics environment).
The goal of the MobiCsek warehouse diagnostic system is to track the movements of material handling vehicles in warehouses or production facilities, to analyze the applied material handling system and routing, and to optimize warehousing processes. We place electronic identifiers on the shelves and racks of the examined warehouse and its material handling equipments. When the moving active RF tags (e.g. on a forklift) get near the storage register the exact time and place (and proximity) in a log file for the forthcoming analisys of routing.
